The Washing Line series each embody stories of Womanhood. The process of healing, cocooning, birth and rebirthing as we grow into our own skin and then shed skin to allow space for development. They are the trials and celebrations, the reclamation of ritual and the empowerment in uplifting the sisterhood. An opportunity to raise awareness of intergenerational trauma and truths of what it really means to be a woman of today. They create conversation on the impact colonization has had over women and honoring the magic and beauty of our female deities and ancestors, what they represent and the stories that we must carry and pass onto our next generations.
