sun kissed skin, warm breezes in the air and sand in my hair.. sitting here in my office reminiscing on the beautiful island paradise getaway that my husband and I recently farewelled. We have come home rested and inspired with Autumn well and truly upon us here in Tūranga, Gisborne New Zealand. Taking time out seems so daunting particularly if you are a busy mama like me, knowing that much work awaits on your return. But yet it is so necessary. Necessary because we often forget to make time for ourselves. Time out allows reflection to process and clear pathways that may have seemed blocked or blurred at one point, including the cross roads. As a mama of three busy young children, I find the older they become the more demanding they are of me! Making the decision to hold tight my itchy travel feet and plant them amongst the roots of our home for the next couple of months has become clearer that this is indeed what our family needs. It is so easy to be swept away by the inspiration and motivation that comes with being an entrepreneur. Lest not forget the foundation that make reaching each stepping stone worth it.
