Tēnā Koutou! Hello to you all!
I have been looking forward to creating this blog and sharing some awesome news with you.
Keeping the motions of business consistent has been a huge challenge lately and you may relate if you too are a busy māmā. I had taken the time to spend the last couple of months focusing more on my family giving them some much needed attention and to also plant my feet in the comfort of my private studio to work and plan for future projects and events. It seems the older my children are, the busier they are which keeps me on my toes flitting between sports, school, home and my mahi, work!
We have welcomed our newest family member 6 year old Jayda who is a half albino American Bulldog and has blended with us just wonderfully. A mama's work never ends but I believe it is the most rewarding mahi. As my reo kaiako says, 'Tūwhitia te hopo!' Smash it anyway! Whatever life offers, I am full with gratitude to do what I do today.

Autumn is in full swing here in Tūranga Aotearoa (Gisborne NZ) with cold and wet weather settling for the next few months. A
perfect time to hit the road and Pōneke (Wellington) is the next destination! Terangi Roimata aka Ariaaariki and I will be making our way down to Wellington this weekend to work from a private space and we are available for bookings with our artwork in tā moko, tatak and Māori Nail Artistry. I practiced hand poke technique on myself so that I could give personal feedback on my experience.

In keeping my inner artistic prolific self-content, I have begun a new project for 2017. The Moon Bathing series is a collective series of works and has created connection with so many people. I am printing to order so you can choose sizes from A5 to A1 and have them personally signed. I am super excited to get creating and extend the collection!
